Josiah is a director, producer, editor, and portrait photographer based in London, UK.
His first short film, 'Heart of the House,' won Best Documentary Short at Beer Town Film Festival and was nominated for an RTS Yorkshire Student Award. It has been screened at multiple film festivals, including Harrogate Film Festival, Screentest, The National Student Film Festival, and more.
His previous film, "I See You", " was screened at Aesthetica and Bucharest ShortCut Cinefest Festival and nominated for the 'Best Actress award at Feel the Reel Film Festival.
He believes art provides a medium through which people can understand themselves and the world within which they live. It is a pathway for connection and apathy that may otherwise cease to exist. He aims to bring this philosophy to every project he touches.
He has worked as a Long-Form Video Producer at Mob and a Video Editor at LADBible and TBWA. Currently, he is freelance shooting, directing and editing and is available to chat about new projects.
